In 2016 Noyes students performed for First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House, recorded a music video with superstar cellist Yo Yo Ma, and performed a production of Annie Kids to rave reviews. Tucked away along Brookland’s busy Franklin Street, this Turnaround Arts school is positive, collaborative, and fun.

    Principal: Kermit Burks

Call to Action: Afterschool enrichment opportunities, gifts/talent/skills you are willing to teach for a quarter. Examples include: chess, various visual art forms, coding, legos, etc.

  • Brookland Middle School

The Brookland Middle School leadership team believes in creating a welcoming environment for ALL students, parents, and community members. There are over 20 clubs and activities for students to join, and the recently remodeled building houses state-of-the-art facilities. Present Biden and First Lady Jill Biden paid a special visit to the school in 2021.

    Principal: Kerry Richardson

Call to Action: In addition to assisting with safe passage at 10th St and Michigan Avenue, and Perry St and Michigan Avenue, volunteer support is greatly needed.
